i can change new airtel prepaid sim to my nokia 5800.i can hard reset my phone, then configure setting wizard.in email settings, its asks nokia messaging id.i dont know about that.there is link to get nokia messaging id,click that.but, its take long time to connect.so i can cancel that option.
i have nokia mail account.so i can fill my nokia mail id in nokia messaging id place.but, its not respond.its takes logn process.i can cancel that option too & leave email account setting.then i can configur my phone.finally,i can try to configure my mail settings.now, its not asking nokia messagng id.i can fill my gmail id & password, connect my mail account.its shows old mails only.i can contact airtel customer care.they says, delete unwanted mails in system & mobile.i can did that.now i have only 6 text mails on my mail account.but still not loading newer mails on my mobile.i can hard reset my mobile 6 times, try 2 connect gmail.some times load only old mails, some times,''unable 2 secure login, unable 2 connect mail server, check mail settings''.
i can approach airtel customer care again.they says,go 2 email settings-remove gmail.i can did that.after removing gmail, its asks new mail settings-install nokia mail-shows gmail, yahoo mail ovi mail...etc.i can select gamil again,pu my id & password.connect my mail box.but again, the same thing happend.not only mail.its hapeend net also.some time connect perfectly.some time unable to find server error msg.
plz guide me,how 2 solve this?
i think,its not airtel sim issue.its a nokia problem.i dont know how 2 solve this.plz quide me

it looks that you don't have AIRTEL GPRS SETTINGS ON YOUR MOBILE.

Call customer care and ask them 2 send GPRS settings to your mobile and save them on your mobile.

If you don't receive any settings , you can do MANUALLY on your mobile

select settings>connection>destination>select access point> If it says automatically check for available access points select NO>packetdata> in that type airtelgprs.com>internet.

In INTERNET delete all except airtelgprs.com

Now click options> select default connection as INTERNET.

Now your internet settings for airtel network are created.

Now you can access any page, i prefer to use opera mini than phone browser, just download opera mini from getjar.com and install it on your phone.

Send the text MO to 54321 then you will recieve configuration settings, save them and set Airtel Internet (Mobile Office) as default access point. You can just download and install Opera mini from m.opera.com and add www.gmail.com as a bookmark to check mails online. Its better.

Once, I happen to believe those connections are inextinguishable.
