Standard text message rates apply. What does this mean and what would it cost me?

The site that I am talking about is Mozes.com and it lets you send and receive exclusive mobile content to and from your favorite bands, friends and social groups using your mobile phone [via text message].
P.S. -I don't have unlimited texting. I have 999 texts every 30-33 days.

Stardard rates means that they will charge you what your compnay charges per text but because of your package, you have your text messages to cover that cost..but i would worry about that website charging you a subscription. i can almost 100% garauntee that they will charge you a fee of probably 10 bucks a month to use their services.

It means that whatever your phone company charges you to make a call is what it will cost you to complete the call. If you have 999 messages a month in your plan, you can use all 999 to text people through Mozes.

However, if you text 1,000 or a higher number, your cell carrier will charge you whatever it charges per extra text. It's the same with minutes, if you go over, you pay so much per minute.

Does that make sense?

this means that the standard rate for sending a text message still applies even if the comerical says like free....it wouldent cost u extra, it just uses one of those 999 texts. its wont cost extra as long as u dont go over the limit

It doesnt cost you any extra. It simply mean like if it normally costs you 10 cents per text message, that it will cost you still 10 cents per text. So if you send one of those and you have sent 700 in those 30 days, it would just count as a normal text so it would be like you sent 701.

hope this isnt too confusing

Standard text message rate is the amount it costs to text someone else's mobile. In the UK, it's 10p.

standard text message rates are usually 10p but this website sounds like it may charge more for the service not included in the standard txt messge rates. good luck
