Hi I was wondering if anyone could give me a clue how to stop the connection error???? Ok this is what is happening!!!!! Every so often my N95 comes up as connection error when I make calls either to landlines or to mobile phones!!!!!

I have taken it into carphone warehouse and they have updated the software, I have even taken out the sim and cleaned the contacts on the phone and even on the sim card itself with a dry cloth. I have put it back together again and samething happens but only every so often!!!!! The carphone warehouse has said they can't do anything unless they see the fault in store how can I prove that the phone is faulty and it needs an exchange or for the phone to be repaired?????

I agree that it is down to the network not the phone.

Network error could be due to a busy network, your too far aware from the mast etc.

It's like trying to make a phone call at 12:01 New Years Day. You'll get a connection error then as so many people will be tying up the network making calls or sending text messages.

Your lucky, the battery on my N95 doesn't last long enough for me to even try to make a phone call!!

connection error is only because of network issue. if you phone is working fine as your service provider to change the sim as many times its sim problem.

you can also check your phone by putting some other working sim and check if same problem comes or not. if not then you are sure that there is problem with sim only.

A connection error is shown from the network end... sadly it isnt the N95's fault...
