[phone]. Anyone get calls from this number?

My mother in law keeps receiving this number on her cell phone. According to WhitePages.Com, it's based out of L.A. When I Google it, it shows up under a fradulent number. Anybody else having this problem?

I have called my SprintPCS provided to complain about these calls. I too have been getting them everyday. What your mother needs to do is go to www.donotcall.gov, register her phone numbers (cell, home, etc.). Then for thirty days, if she continues to get these calls, just don't answer them, after the 30th day, then you can file a complaint and sue them in court for damages. She will need to confirm the email when she receives it from the donotcall website. Once that happens, it takes 30 days.

This company has avoided following the FCC regulations. The other suggestion would be to call the phone company from which she has service through and file a formal complaint with them and use the various responses from this board to prove that this company is harassing people on the phone in Spanish. On another note, maybe going throught the Attorney General's Office could work.

I have already filed a complaint with my cell company and registerd on the Do Not Call list.

Yes, I got a call today 9/7/2006 at 11:54 a.m. This may be collection agencies harrasing people. I believe this is MMCA, Mitsubishi Motors Company based on L.A.

as usual, I got the call, was at work so it went unanswered, I checked my phone and there was a missed call from, you guessed it , 323 927-1550. Googled the number and this yahoo question and answer came up as well as this:

Yes! I just got the call to my cell phone. Since the computer was on, I immediately entered the number into a search engine and cam up with your question. I didn't bother calling back. Very few people know my cell phone number and I don't feel any great need to answer calls from numbers that I'm not aware of, especially if they're from a long distance aways.

I just got a call on my cell phone from 323-927-1550, didn't recognize it, didn't answer, then Googled it and landed here with all you other folks. Good information! Both Google and Yahoo are awesome!

I'm in the 310 and just received a call from them. When I picked up my Sprint cell to answer, it went dead. When I called the number back (it's very similar to a friend's number), I get one of those constant busy signals. Apparently it doesn't accept incoming calls. Anyone know what business this is?

I have been getting that call for the past week and it is starting to piss me off to the point of changing my cell phone number. I tried calling the number back but all I get is a busy signal every time.





UPDATE: I just called Sprint customer service and they gave me the number to Corporate Security. She said it has to be harassment, threats or other types of calls that you are recieving and they will do a TRACE on that number! So here is the number to call 1-800-877-7330. Please, everyone call this number and complain, something has to be done about this.

My boyfriend has been receiving that same call - first on his work cell phone, now on his personal cell phone.



We are on VERIZON Wireless



I have googled, etc. - like everyone else. If you try to return the call you can't get through. I went ahead and registered both numbers on donotcall.gov - - but for the meanwhile, a tip to you - save that number in your address book in y our cell as SPAM - and when it comes up you know not to answer it!!!

Yeah, I just got this call a few minutes ago, I didn't answer it, instead I blocked my number and tried to call it back, but I keep getting a busy signal. This is really annoying to keep getting these calls.

Yes, I have been getting these regularly for the past six months! I contacted Verizon to see about getting the call blocked - they can't. I'm going to send a complaint to the FTC today. I'm in Virginia by the way.
