I have just updated my iphone to ios 7 and downloaded the latest itunes and just noticed that most of my music library has now disappeared. The tracks are still appearing in itunes ( my iphone>on this iphone>music ) but they are not appearing when on the iphone and i have the space available for the missing tracks.
Has this happened to anyone else or does anybody have a solution?

reconnect it to your computer and re-sync. When you updated your phone did it make you do a factory reset? you can reboot almost everything using cloud but I noticed this doesn't include music for some reason...

Yes. When you plug it in iTunes should say something like "an iPod can only be synced with on computer". It will have the option "Transfer purchases". It will only transfer songs, videos, and app that were downloaded from iTunes. If you downloaded any of that stuff from another program or site, like limewire, it won't be transferred.

Haven't heard and or seen anything about this before but I can give you a suggestion which you've probably thought of and that is email an apple support group member and see what they say. Or if you want to you can download the free music app downloader and download tons of new songs and the ones you've lost and then transfer them to your music library.
