Windows Phone, I have one, it's basically like a windows 8.1 tablet. Reasons it's better? (In some cases). Never freezes, more "Microsoft" apps (though it lacks many android apps). I can't speak much for Iphone since I'm not an Apple fan. SMS blocking on all calls and messages, no need to EVER change your number. Works great, Nokia is the only phone it comes on right now, and they are excellent. Getting use to the tabs is great, many different colors, live tabs. Cortana is 20 times better than Suri, or Google. With Microsoft Sync this phone asks what you want to do when you get a text, and you can answer hands free, or decline etc. So it's something not everyone likes or has. Which is why I chose it. Not once have ever had a seconds problem with it. If it goes, I'll buy another. Had Android for years, got old, and after all the Lolipop hoopla and problems, I'm glad I got rid of it.

Android is better. More user friendly and innovative than Apple. Android is gaining momentum in all respects. I pity the ones who are still stuck on apple products. They are living in the past. If you compare the first iphone (2G) and the most recent one iphone 6 you will only see a difference in screen size. Same old feel and looks. I am sorry to say but that s how it is.

iPhones are expensives than Android phones, however Android phones growing rapidly in the world due to its reasonable cost. Also Android is an open source, so you don't have to pay for every applications.

Also as per the previous year survey, Android have 1.3 millions apps(almost free) and Iphone has 1.2 millions apps(mostly paid). Now this makes Android more popular now days.

In my opinion Androids are better but Apple is cosmetically better in the way it looks. I wish the Android OS can run on an Iphone. Perhaps in IPhone 7?

This is an everlasting question, before this one, people use to fight over Microsoft and Apple. Now, as everybody is going into mobile, iOS and Android war has emerged. It seems it will remain in the discussion for a long time. Personally speaking, I use the iPhone 6, hence I will favor the iOS but, frankly speaking, there is a little difference between both of them, depending on the users priorities.

If you have a Mac, get an iPhone. If you use a Windows PC, get an Android phone. Sooner or later, you'll want to connect them, and this will make it go much smoother.

If you want to put MP3's on your phone from your PC with a cable, the iPhone will demand that everything goes through iTunes (complicated). For Windows to Android, just click and drag files.

If you get the iPhone, expect to pay much more for *everything* you add to it.

If you think about it, phones with Lollipop 5.1 are doing really well. Androids have a lot of customization, and have NFC (important for transferring photos from a dslr if the dslr supports it)

The iphone is very easy to use.

But bang for your buck? Between the 5.1 Android phones and the iPhones, it seems as if the iPhone is ripping you off lol. But im only talking about 5.1 Lollipop Android phones, not the previous versions.

Android iPhone lost quality

It's a matter of preference in the end, some operating systems are easier to operate and understand than others, as for freedom, I recommend Android. Both iOS and Android are very stable. The most important for me as I said is freedom to do what I want, not paying for every single application, syncing to pc or transferring media back and forth is easier on Android as with IOs. Everything is just easier. Depending on device Android is running on, you even get better quality than iOS.
?
2015-05-18 22:33:58 UTC
In term of price then Android will beat Apple. But in term of quality then Apple surely beat Android.
2015-05-17 14:23:32 UTC
So, i will list the pros and cons of both operating systems. I will try my best to be unbiased.

Android

Pros: Yes, it is way cheaper. Also, android is a lot more customizable than iPhones. That's one of the biggest factors to it, customization. Another thing is variety. There's only an iPhone for ios, but in android, you have the htc m9, sony xperia z3, lg g4, etc. So that's another thing, Maybe you like one android design over the other, then you have some choices you can make. For windows people, android runs off of linux, which is the same as what windows is built off of. So you can find similar features, such as moving files from folder to folder, downloading content straight off of your phone browser and installing the app (such as root apps, get them on the web, and install). So there is also a bit of convenience, vs ios, where you have to download off of a computer, hook your phone to the pc, and go through a series of steps on your pc to get the app onto your apple device.

Cons: Not as smooth or user friendly as ios. Maybe if google focused more on android than trying to overtake facebook with their stupid google plus crap... You get what i mean.

IOS

Pros: It is a lot more developed so it will be a lot more smoother and a very very tiny nanosecond faster. It is also very user friendly. You don't have to worry about random screen rbg settings, random folders such as com.android.(insert something here), etc. It's just a lot more simpler to use. Also, it is more secure than android since apple's ios is very locked down. So you don't have to worry about getting hacked (Basically, The chances of you iphone being successfully hacked are lower than an android's chance of getting successfully hacked.

Cons: No customizations, what-so-ever, besides background. Hard for me to use, i need my back and menu buttons (haha). Hella expensive.

Those are the reasons, if people even see this, but yeah. It's down to what you prefer. Do you like more control and more customizations? or do you like security and a user friendly ui?

Apple iPhone. It is much easier to use! My mom has an android and It got some error, It was so difficult to reset it and stuff. So many weird options. IPhone is so simple. Although I agree, that I like the back camera of Samsung better, and it does have some pretty rad features. But IPhone all the way! It has its own reputation.

Can't really say which one is better. If you want a phone that's simple, more refined, doesn't get viruses, and a phone that takes better pics than most phones - then I would say the iPhone is better... If you want a phone that gives you more freedom and more free apps and games, then Android would be better.

I honestly think my iPhone 5c is the greatest! It only costed $180, but it is NOT a cheap device. My previous windows phone cost $100 more and it was a piece of crap. If you are going to buy an iPhone, either buy a 5s or 5c. The 6 and 6 plus, and 7 are basically a larger, over priced version, so I definitely do not recommend them.

Both are best as iPhone market is small (stocks are huge) and you dont have cry after new iPhone come in market everyday as it dont happen and android after every 3 or 4 hours new phone come and our phone became old and weak as it happens after some days they forgot the old phones and dont send software update as of my phone. But in android better ui, lockscreen, app drawer, more apps in playstore, developer very well known Google, having a homescreen, cheap, rooting, widgets in homescreen and much more.

i personally like iphones because it is better for your apps, like i like editing photos so the apps for that really are amazing. android is more better for photo quality, apple products tend to have horrible quality. kinda sucks but if you find good apps you can make it look like it has great quality but why go through the struggle? also, adroids are typically confusing and frustrating to use, though i do like how you can change fonts, which you cant do with iphone! hope this helped :)

Apple is good if your a person with money to waste and don't care if your sacrificing many features and customize-ability for a phone that is too simple, Takes ages to find a specific setting but just want a phone that 'works' and is 'popular'.

Android is good if your willing to spend enough money on a good phone that is packed with features and speed and are willing to endulge and explore the many features and options on your phone to make it an experience suited for you. (FOr example finding a new launcher such as NOva or Everything me.
